There are several options for getting your body sculpted to look its best, and it’s up to you to make the final choice of what you think will work for you. This can get confusing, since some treatments are similar to others. This is the case when it comes to EMSCULPT and EMSCULPT NEO. They are both safe and effective treatments, but there are differences between them that you should be aware of.
They both achieve the same goals: they help to build and tone your muscles while also killing off fat cells. The primary differences between the two lie in how they affect your fat cells, muscles, and skin cells. They also incorporate different technologies and methods to get the job done. Here is a quick guide to give you a rundown on how these two processes differ.
EMSCULPT treatments work to build up your muscles and burn off fat cells in a non-invasive way. During a treatment, the technician will send high-intensity electromagnetic pulses to targeted areas on your body. When muscles are targeted by these pulses, it causes them to contract very quickly. In fact, one EMSCULPT session can be the equivalent of 20,000 crunches. These contractions go deep in the muscle, which can change its structure to provide a more toned look. At the same time, the pulses will break down fat cells and kill them off for them to be flushed away by your body’s natural systems. There is no downtime or recovery needed for an EMSCULPT treatment.
EMSCULPT Neo is an updated version that has only been in practice since 2020. It also involves using electromagnetic pulses to cause muscle contractions and break down fat cells. However, it also involves radiofrequency energy that is targeted at your fat cells. Radiofrequency energy packs a lot of heat, which is able to penetrate more deeply and kill even more fat cells. In general, EMCULPT Neo tends to provide more pronounced results in a shorter period of time.
Both treatments provide a range of muscles and areas on your body that can be targeted to get the results you are looking for. For starters, targeting the abdomen will remove excess belly fat and tighten your stomach muscles to give more definition to your ab muscles. When used on your buttocks, you can get your butt looking tighter and less saggy. Your arms will be bigger in the triceps and biceps areas, which also removes any underarm and hanging fat. Legs are known to give off the impression of having saddlebags, but either one of these treatments can help remove sagging skin and reduce the width of your thighs. Your calves are also great candidates, as the treatments will give them more definition and shrink them to a size that you will find more appealing.
Both of these treatments are geared towards reducing fat and encouraging muscle growth. After several treatments, they will both help restore the strength of your muscle wells, which can aid in healing and recovery. Once you are finished, you will have bigger and better looking muscles, and also muscles that can be more resilient going forward.
The biggest benefit is that these treatments do not require any surgical intervention and do not require any healing or downtime. Other benefits include;
So far, both EMSCULPT and EMSCULPT NEO sound very familiar. However, there are some slight differences. For example, EMSCULPT uses electromagnetic pulses to get the desired result, which EMSCULPT NEO adds in radiofrequency to boost the effects. That extra heat not only kills off fat cells, but it has an effect on your blood as well. It will encourage blood to rush to your muscles while you are getting treatments, which causes your muscles to repair faster and grow bigger. The fat cells that are killed off them get metabolized by your body and are disposed of naturally, with no negative side effects. This is very similar to other treatments that kill off fat, however other treatments do not also have a muscle building element.
Because of the addition of radiofrequency energy, EMSCULPT NEO is possibly the best option for body-contouring services. It can cause thousands of muscle contractions in just a matter of moments, and can burn up to 30% of your fat pockets in 4 sessions.
EMSculpt does not provide as much fat reduction as EMSCULPT NEO. That means that it’s more appropriate for patients who have less fat to lose, and want to focus more on muscle building. If you can pinch a little bit of fat off of your abdomen, or have slight love handles, then a standard treatment would be all you need. Most of the time, those who exercise regularly but can’t seem to get rid of that last pocket of fat end up getting EMSCULPT to get the best results. A good rule of thumb is that if you have a BMI under 30, then EMSCULPT is right for you.
EMSCULPT is the gold standard when it comes to body-contouring muscle building and fat reducing treatments. This method is ideal for those who want dramatic results that go beyond needing a little help to reach the finish line of their goals. The ability to penetrate deeply with heat to maximize fat reduction makes it a more efficient method for patients who have more fat and a BMI over 30.

Do things that help the process in your journey and make you feel good. Love the way you look!
I think you have to do things that maybe help the process in your journey and make you feel good and bring happiness to you and if that means getting a little Botox or getting a microderm you know which is something that you know I’ll walk away and look in the mirror and think oh I love the way I look but then it’s also a balance of being like it’s okay I’ve made it to 53 and I’m healthy and I think that’s where the thoughtful aging comes in versus the anti-aging
I’m 44 I have two kids and I work constantly. I’m traveling and it’s really hard to have consistency in your life. My body isn’t the same after having two kids and even just on a functional level, if I would try to work out, I kept injuring myself, and I wasn’t working from this strong foundation of core or where I should have been and I was getting really discouraged. I wanted to change my life and do something really positive so that I could go into my closet and get dressed feeling good, so that I could eat pasta here and there, so I could drink wine here and there, and just find that elusive balance called 80/20. I’ve certainly known 80/20 in the opposite direction; you realize that being healthy and strong is really important. I wanted to condition my body differently so I could exercise regularly without injury, and then I did a bunch of recon with a lot of women, a lot of who you know some of you don’t, some who are really amazing actresses or athletes, and I was like, I found out all the cool girls were already doing it, and it made me feel really safe about the process. I got really excited as opposed to curious and they’re all doing it. So I was like, well then I want to do it as I had been doing a lot of core work. So I did Emsculpt in tendem, and it completely changed my foundation; it just really changed my life, and I get to go work out with my girlfriends and do dance cardio. I feel better when I’m picking up my kids. I’m just exercising smarter because I’m stronger. I’m not really a champion or into anything invasive and I’m not into aesthetics. I care about athletics and being capable and a strong woman, and I don’t know what exactly that looks like because it’s totally different for every single woman. But for me and my personal life I know the line and I know when I’m feeling good. I know what I’m looking better for me, well I definitely see lines in my stomach where I never have which is a total anomaly for me. I’m just getting to live the life I want to, I look better, I feel better, but I’m working out consistently without landing in a physical therapists office because I’ve overdone it or thrown my back out my car was like a fish tank after kids when women have kids nobody talks about how broken the body is and you’re trying to get back to where you were but you’ll never be in the same clade. So I think people probably do this for a multitude of reasons. I have friends who do Ironman, who do it, me as a mother who couldn’t put her body back together the right way. That was why I did it, I just wanted health and wellness in my life. Some people do it for posture, some people do it for conditioning, some people are hardcore athletes, and want to get even stronger and get that extra boost. All the cool girls are doing it for sure.
I just think the whole phrase thoughtful aging is so beautiful; it’s such a healthier approach but to keep your young youthful skin the best you can. I say this as I think it’s really important, and it makes sense to me, and it makes me feel good. Where again, anti-aging, this makes me feel defeated. Bridgeport laser and wellness is by far the best place to go for thoughtful aging
