1 – Your consultation/introduction to laser-assisted hair removal

Sophisticated laser platforms power many aesthetic applications, from softening wrinkles to clearing acne-prone skin. The “magic” behind our technology is its use of three combined wavelengths. Combining laser wavelengths into one system can target different depths and anatomical structures within the tissue and hair follicles. 2 – The treatment process 

As a light-based treatment, the Soprano ICE™ system works by targeting the melanin that is present in the hair follicles. Melanin is the pigment responsible for our hair, skin, and eye color. Hairs grow through sac-like follicles.  Laser therapy damages the pigmented molecules to disable the treated follicles by targeting the melanin in the area of unwanted hair. The normal cycle of hair growth is disrupted. Since treatment is so targeted, the surrounding skin remains undisturbed. This makes the treatment safe and predictable. 3 – Post-treatment care

However, there are things you can do to support healing and soothe sensitive skin. It’s important to avoid heat and direct sunlight/tanning, and not to use harsh or perfumed products at first. 4 – Post-treatment results 

Hair grows in cycles. So, any professional hair removal service is not a “one-and-done” procedure. You may be able to achieve your goal of smoothness in about six to eight appointments. But, of course, results can vary considerably, and no two treatment experiences are alike.
