Beyond her work as the founder of Bridgeport Laser & Wellness Center, Alina serves as Board Chair of Gather: Make: Shelter, a Portland-based 501(c) (3) non-profit dedicated to empowering people experiencing homelessness and poverty through arts-based programming, mentorship, and community collaboration.
Since joining the board in 2018, Alina has helped guide the organization’s strategic growth, governance, and long-term sustainability. Gather: Make believes that creativity is a powerful pathway to dignity, connection, and opportunity, offering workshops, public art projects, leadership development, and mentorship that help participants build confidence, skills, and meaningful community.
As Board Chair, Alina is passionate about fostering mission-driven leadership, strengthening organizational impact, and helping create a city where every person is valued, heard, and given the opportunity to thrive. Through this work, she continues her lifelong commitment to serving others with compassion, integrity, and purpose.
